Welcome to Laz's list of Harry Potter fanfic recommendations.
This is a very personal list of recs and I am sure there are those who may quibble with my choices, but a personal selection is just that and I am making no apologies for the stories listed here. However, I am aware that some of the fics recced might be seen as fluffy or fanonish, but you know, I am partial to a bit of fluffy fanon sometimes. Not everything I enjoy can be seen as high art, and frankly there's nothing wrong with that!
There are a few fics that I know are missing from this list and I shall add them as I recover the links.
I have given the names of the main pairing so that it easy to search for fics with particular charcaters.
This list has taken a long time to put together and I hope it will be useful and/or interesting to other people. If I wish anything at all for it, it's that someone will see a fic with a pairing they would never have read and -- because of whatever comments I have made -- they click that link and read beyond their comfort zone.
If you find a link that is outdated or has been removed, please let me know. I shall try to keep up with the ever changing world of HP sites, but it's something of a thankless task!
